Every year, the UWSA offers $10,500 in scholarships and bursaries. This year, we have increased that amount and increased the number of individual scholarships available to recognize the additional need arising from the COVID-19 pandemic. UWSA scholarships are given out based on academic performance, extracurricular activities or community involvement. All undergraduate students are encouraged to apply.
In order to be eligible to apply for a scholarship, you must be a UWSA member in the Winter 2021 semester or had been one in the Fall 2020 semester. A UWSA member is a full-time undergraduate student. Full-time is defined as taking 4 or 5 courses. This includes JD and MD programs.
Applications will open the week of February 8, 2021 and will be open until March 14, 2021. Applications will be submitted via Qualtrics Form. For each scholarship that you apply, you will need to provide a description about yourself and why you believe you should be awarded the scholarship.
